I got in a time machine and saw Bob Dylan in 1970. It was great and he was everything I expected him to be.
Saw The Most Serene Republic at the Starlight on Thursday. Great show, had a chance to talk with their latest drummer, who is a cool dude. I think they are the only band that:
1. I’ve seen three times
2. I’ve only seen in Canada.
Ad man behind '1984,' 'Think Different,' and 'I'm a Mac' stepping down
I was just explaining during my class on branding how Apple’s Think Different ad campaign was one of my favourites of all time. It’s a shame to see him moving on, but maybe this will open Apple up to some new, great ideas that we haven’t seen yet.
Edit: Apparently the blogs blew this whole thing about of proportion, and he’s not leaving at all. It was really just an org chart change. Anyway, I like the video, so enjoy it either way.
Dan hooked me up with one of the best gifts ever while I was in Buffalo. Infinite thanks to him and the Maps and Atlases crew. Can’t wait until I can see them again.
Met up with Dan on my way to Buffalo and got a chance to see The Chinese Stars. Great band, great poster.
